Mission Trip Advent Peduli (MTAP) IX - "Share It"

March 18 – 25, 2012

Desa Tugumukti, Kec. Cisarua, Kab. Bandung Barat, West Java

Participants:

Advent Peduli-20 persons;

Universitas Advent Indonesia +/- 250 students dan 13 teachers;

AYOO Ministry-8 persons;

AY Dept. Jakarta Int'l SDA Church-21 persons;

Korea Overseas Medical Assistance Team-9 persons;

North South Ministry-15 persons.

Activities:

1. Living-in: 11 households with 37 students.

2. Teaching Assistance: SD Tugurahayu (Elementary School) & PAUD Tugumukti (play group), 25 students divided into 4 teams.

3. Health & small enterprise Seminar : 6 seminars (4 at night & 2 at day time) attended around 15 - 100 people.

4. English Class & VBS: 5 days with 70 - 150 kids.

5. Fun House: 1 time with 200 kids.

6. Charity Clinic: 6 days in 4 different sub-villages treated 693 patients.

7. Cleaning up the village: 1 day.

8. Basic Need Distribution: 120 packs for 120 fam.

9. Cultural Night: 300 people.

The program so successful. The people loved it & have asked us to come back again. Hopefully we could do more for the people there & other places in the future.
